One of the most widely used international calling products offered by Viacloud is its range of calling cards. These cards can be purchased from most retail outlets, and provide customers with a cost effective alternative to making international calls. In order to use the calling card, each user dials a local toll-free number and enters a PIN code in order to gain access to Viacloud's network. Once access has been gained, the user dials the desired international number and speaks for as long as adequate credit remains on the calling card.

Callings cards can be used anywhere and anytime by dialing the toll free number or local access number on the back of the card. These numbers can be called either from a fixed line (or landline) or from a mobile phone, depending on the service provider. There is also a customer service number clearly indicated on the back of each card in case the caller experiences any difficulties and
requires support.

Viacloud's calling cards come in two main variations:

Disposable
The disposable calling cards have a "stored value" or fixed amount of credit that is depleted with each minute of calling. Once this credit has been used, the card can no longer be used and a new card needs to be purchased.

Rechargeable
The rechargeable calling cards also have a fixed amount of credit at any given time. The key difference is that this credit can be recharged or "topped up" once it has been depleted so that the same card and PIN number can continue to be used. This PIN number can be saved by the user or even programmed into the speed dial of a phone for added convenience. Cards can be charged in a number of ways, including purchasing a top up card from a retail outlet and by calling the customer service number on the back of the card and providing a credit card number.
